The Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) is pleased to announce the launch of the MASA Policy Development Programme (MPDP) 3.0, inviting researchers and academicians from public and private higher education institutions to apply for research grants. This initiative aims to foster strategic collaborations in policy research, focusing on the theme “Bumiputera Empowerment and Shared Prosperity.”
Grant Details:

Funding Amount: Up to RM10,000 per selected research proposal.

Objective: To add value to existing policies and serve as a check-and-balance mechanism to ensure their effectiveness.

Research Focus Areas: Proposals should address one of the following key areas related to the Bumiputera community.

Income, Living Standards, and Social Welfare

Asset Ownership, Equity, and Wealth

Human Capital Development
-
Regional and Rural Development
-
Education and Skills
-
Competitiveness and Business Ecosystem Value

Empowerment of Institutional Reforms and Inclusivity

Application Requirements:

Submission of a Policy Brief focusing on one of the seven key areas mentioned above.

Researchers are encouraged to disseminate their findings through print media, electronic platforms, and/or leading academic journals to ensure widespread impact and visibility.
