Research Fields: Basic research in natural sciences, including environmental studies. Please note that clinical medicine and mathematics are excluded.
Eligibility Criteria:

Age: Applicants must be below 40 years old.

Nationality: Open to Malaysian citizens.

Residency: Applicants must be residing in Malaysia.

Affiliation: Must be engaged in basic fundamental scientific research at a research facility in Malaysia.

Submission Period: Applications are accepted from January 1 to May 31, 2025. The online submission system will close automatically at midnight on May 31. Early submissions are encouraged to avoid any last-minute issues.

Grant Conditions:

Research Duration: Projects funded by the grant should be completed within 12 months following the prize presentation ceremony.

Reporting: A final report and a certified statement of accounts must be submitted by March 15 of the following year upon project completion.

Symposium Participation: Grantees are required to present their research findings at the MTSF Grant Research Symposium, fostering knowledge sharing within the scientific community.
